Backend engineer. APIs and distributed systems.
I build backend systems across fintech, travel, commerce, and HR, and I go deepest on money-movement, where a bug charges someone twice or loses a repayment. That is mostly reliability work: idempotent operations, explicit state machines, exactly-once processing. Most recently I have been the primary backend engineer on Vida, an embedded lending platform I built end to end. The case studies below get into the decisions and tradeoffs.

The backend of an embedded lending and BNPL platform. This deep dive is the hardest part: a direct-debit recovery engine built so each repayment settles exactly once, even under retries and duplicate callbacks.

An event-driven CRM whose core is a guarded state machine over an append-only event log. Legal-edge-only transitions, idempotent webhook ingestion, and a pluggable AI service with a deterministic offline fallback.
